The connections between the Côte d'Azur with all the regions of France and all the major cities in Europe are provided the S.N.C.F.'s express and high-speed trains (TGV). The TGV connects up Paris (the capital of France) and Cannes in five hours at least 3 times daily.

The Cannes Railway Station is near the conference venue, within walking distance from the Palais des Festivals.

You can take the train to Nice and to the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. In the latter case take a bus to the Airport from the Nice Railway Station. Train fares are reasonable (Nice-Cannes costs around 5 €). There are 80 trains operating daily between Cannes and Nice. The trip takes about 40 minutes.
