We stayed in the charlemagne apartment in Paris and we were absolutely delighted. It was easy from the start to the finish. It was clean, comfortable and perfectly located in the Marais, my favorite spot in Paris. I would definitely come back to isabelles apartments and recomend it to everyone who is planning to go to Paris. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay Isabelle!!

I took my nephew to Paris and wanted a large enough place to give us both some privacy. We were very happy with Charlemagne. It was large and extremely well located. Both of us know Paris well and found we were located where we could get everywhere in Paris easily by foot or by metro. Of course, Le Marais and it's surrounds are always a treat. The apartment was lovely and had all the amenities that we are used to having around us. If you are homesick for Starbucks go right out the front door and in through their back door! There is, of course, lovely French coffee everywhere nearby. The grocery is on the next block. The bank is on the corner. The best chocolate shop I have ever seen is on the next block and lots of little restaurants within steps. Enjoy!

My wife and I were two first time visitors in Paris. We found Charlemagne and the Marais very comfortable. The apartment was well located for visiting Paris, as well as shopping and dining. We found Isabelle responsive to questions, and we would rent one of her
apartments again.

We stayed in the Charlemagne apartment in Marais. Close to the Metro and not a far walk from the heart of Paris. Apartment was as advertised and Isabelle was very responsive and helpful. Good restaurants, nightlife, etc. close by. Would recommend Le Loir around the corner for brunch. Starbucks was across the street if you need your ice coffee fix (tough to come by in Paris). Boulangerie down the block had great pain aux chocolats. Great time overall and a wonderful stay.

Thanks Isabelle - a fab time in a fab apartment - Having a home base in Paris can really make for a relaxing holiday and almost make you feel like a local. We loved the Charlemagne apartment and two years previously we had stayed in Moliere - both fantastic locations with comfortable furnishings and excellent organisation by the ever efficient Isabelle. We would (and already have) recommend Isabelle and her Paris apartments to anyone wanting a homey base in beautiful Paris. It especially suits a family (we have two sons aged 10 and 12 and it was perfect) . Merci and Au revoir.

My daughter, granddaughter and I spent one week in the Charlemagne apt and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is only a few steps from cafes, pastry shops, internet cafe and supermarche. I went every morning to buy fresh croissants for our breakfast. We learned how to use Metro for some transportation including the trip back to CDG which costs less than a taxi. The apt was, attractive, very comfortable and the shower large. We opened the tall windows for fresh air and to hear the sounds of Paris, then closed them to the noise and had peace and quiet. The 2 flights of stairs were a way to walk off a few calories. I would rent from Isabelle again and plan to spend one month in Paris the next time. Thank you, Isabelle, for your hospitality.

Four of us spent a week in the Charlemange Apartment in April, 2011. It was exactly what was advertiised. I loved being in La Marais, the metro was a two minute walk. All the arrangements worked out so easily, that I would recommed Isabel to all of my friends, and hopefully "we will be back".

Our stay in Le Charlemagne apt for 5 nights was excellent. Isabelle's consideration for her guests was outstanding. There was everything our group of two couples would need for our stay: from electrical adapters, to condiments for our meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was warm, light, and convenient to everything; we became regulars at the Saint Paul Metro stop and the boulangeriers nearby, including the new Starbucks (but don't go there for the croissants, they were not up to the croissants in the rest of France). I would highly recommend Isabelle's apartments because she made the arrangements easy to make, the contract was clear, the
instructions for obtaining and then leaving the keys easy and was available for further questions. The Marais district was filled w/delightful places to eat, shop, and take in a number of museums; and ride the carousel. Thank you, Isabelle for making our 1st stay in Paris so comfortable.

We stayed in the Charlemagne apartment and were completely pleased. In our party were two adults (30s), our daughter (age 3), and my mother (60s). The location was fabulous - I can't imagine how it would be possible to be nearer the Metro or bus stops. Easy walk to sites in the Marais, Hotel de Ville, Ile de St. Louis, Flower Market, Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, and Seine River. The neighborhood is very convenient with a Monoprix, great patisseries and boulangeries just steps away, as well as many wonderful cafes and bars (and a Starbucks directly across the street from the apartment). We greatly appreciated having the apartment where we could wash clothes and enjoyed having our own stash of food that we could keep in the refrigerator or cook. Although the bathroom was small by American standards, it was fine, and we had plenty of hot water for consecutive showers for the four of us. As is well reported on the site, there are two flights of stairs up to the apartment. The stairs are quite narrow and winding, so taking a stroller up and down the stairs was difficult, but not impossible. The apartment was quiet, and we felt absolutely safe. With the windows open, it could be somewhat noisy at night, but the windows shut out the noise completely. We actually liked having the street noise and were not at all bothered by it.

We hope to return to Paris again in the not-too-distant future and would absolutely rent from Isabelle again. She was a pleasure to work with!

We recently stayed (August 2010) in Charlemagne apartment for 7 nights. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic , we wanted to be in the Marais district. It was very near the Metro station (St Paul), supermarket, ... This was my first experience renting an apartment for vacation. Isabelle made the process very easy from the financial transactions to picking up the keys. When we return for a future visit we will plan to in the apartment again. We would recommend Isabelle's apartment. Thank you very much for all .

Our family of 4 adults stayed in the Charlemagne apartment in Paris. It was wonderful. We loved the Marais neighborhood. We had everything we could want within walking distance. The apartment was in great shape, very clean and nicely decorated. It was spacious
and just what we expected. We would not hesitate to stay there again. We took Isabelle's recommendation of a jazz club that we found in the guestbook and had a great time. Thanks Isabelle!

We stayed in the Charlemagne apartment in the Marais district. The location of the apartment could not be beat. We were literally across the street from a supermarket and the Metro station, both of which we used extensively! The apartment was a perfect size for 2 people. It
was clean and comfortable and all the amenities worked well (dishwasher, washer, appliances).
We had emailed with Isabelle regarding check in and it could not have gone smoother. We picked up our keys and got right into the apartment. She called us on our check in day to make sure everything was ok. I told her we needed another power adaptor and voila! She had it for us the next day.
Something special happened during our trip. I had left my camera on a bus in Rennes, a smaller town several hours from Paris. I asked Isabelle to communicate with the bus company to see if she could get it back. She called the bus company for me and got my camera back!
Additionally she shipped it all the way to the United States for me. This personal touch will not be forgotten. I would definitely rent from Isabelle without fear. She is very trustworthy and is great about communicating.

Five adults stayed at " Charlemagne" for a week and managed just fine space-wise. The apartment was excellent and had everything we needed, along with being charming and in a great safe and convenient location. Isabelle is entirely professional and friendly, and we would definitely come again and can totally highly recommend "Isabelle's Apartments"
