My wife and I stayed for 1 week in apartment Colette in June 2011.
Having previously stayed in one of Isabelle's other apartments, we had no concerns re booking again through the internet.
Things went like clockwork for us. No dramas - everything just as promised.
Transport between the apartment and CDG airport is simple using the RER train system.
Colette is in the Marais district, within walking distance of many iconic Paris sites and lots of restaurants.
It's so handy to transport, including the Metro at nearby St Paul station, and the boats on the Seine.
Would we book with Isabelle again? Yes, definitely. Would we book via the internet again? Without doubt.

I stayed the first week in May in the Colette apartment. It was amazing. It was just as described, and in a lovely area. It had convient metro stops nearby. The apartment was nicely stocked and felt very inviting when i first walked into it. The guestbook in the apartment provided all the necessary information you might need and a bonus was the provided copy of paris practique...that became invaluable for me when i explored areas on my own.
Thank you so much...and i will recommend this to anyone who plans to travel to Paris :D

Thanks Isabelle! Location is FABULOUS. What a terrific and relaxing retreat. Minutes from the metro, and less than that for wonderful cafes, fashion, gardens, and the people of Paris. Victor Hugo Museum is just around the corner. Couldn't be a better location and the apartment is perfectly Parisian! Can't wait to be back.

I stayed in the Colette apartment for four days by myself, for my first trip to Paris, and it was absolutely the right decision. It was the perfect size for one, however it would have been comfortable for two as well. The location was wondering, being near metro stops, a grocery store, cafes, and shopping. I felt safe traveling alone, appreciated the wireless internet (a HUGE help) and also found Isabelle to be
very responsive for all requests. I highly recommend this apartment. I have already recommended it to friends and would definitely

I recently rented Isabelle's Colette studio in the Maris. For eleven days I considered it my Parisienne piede a terre. Located in a lively area near the Saint Paul metro, the neighborhood was interesting with La Boheme type views out of the tall French windows. The climb to the studio via numerous steep winding stairs could be daunting so pack light. There was a somewhat alarming hand-written note in the bathroom about the toilet but all funcioned well. The bed and pillows were tres comfortable. I thought the Colette perfect for a single. Felt safe and secure and I would definitely rent again.

We just came back from our stay in the Colette apartment, which was great. Everything was as it should be. The location was perfect, the studio was perfect for 2 persons, we felt perfectly at home, it was warm despite the cold weather, and everything run smoothly with the reservation.
I would certainly recommend it to anybody wishing to stay in Paris but not in a hotel.

A friend & I had the pleasure of resting our heads & shopping bags in Isabelle's Colette apartment for almost two weeks & we recommend you do the same!

The studio is exactly like the photographs & described accurately. Colette is in a clean & secure building with friendly & quiet neighbors. Its picturesque & historic Marais location is unbeatable. Also, we had so many markets, patisseries & restaurants around us we never fully utilized the kitchen except to make coffee, tea & to store fruits & macarons.

Colette is also surrounded by several Metro stations; St Paul (Line 1), Bastille (Lines 1, 5 & 8) & Hotel De Ville (Lines 1 & 11). Also two major bus lines run near by but if you like to walk you'll be in for a surprise. You'll be able to stroll to 90% of the attractions! One evening we walked from Bastille, thru' the Marais to the Pompidou, the islands, Notre Dame, St. Michel, Latin Quarter, Montparnasse, St. Germain, the Louvre, Concord & up to Opera. From there we took the train back & treated ourselves to pomme frites & Kir Royales a block from the apartment.

As for Isabelle herself, she does exist! We never met her but she did follow up twice which was sweet. We also did use the Blue Van Shuttle service she recommends, it was on time & inexpensive.

Isabelle, it was such a pleasure to have our base at your Colette Apartment in Le Marais. Although we were in Paris for work, returning to the charming little studio made it feel like a holiday. It is so centrally located, we were able to walk to all the fabulous restaurants, pick up croissants at the local bakery, lie-in and read while still being able to fee/hear Paris through the large windows. Thank you. My only recommendation is that you provide bigger mugs for us tea drinkers! Simone

My daughter and I stayed in the Colette apartment in Marais.
Although small, it was perfect for the two of us.

The location was perfect and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Isabelle was very accessible and took care of a minor appliance problem quickly.

I would and have been, recommending Isabelle to my friends. I hope to return to Paris soon and I will definately rent from Isabelle.

Our stay in the Colette apartment (23-27 April '09) in Le Marais was a delight. Loved the location, the self-sufficiency afforded by the well-equipped studio & its proximity to the metro/areas of interest. Short walk into the heart of Paris, too! Dealing with Isabelle was a pleasure & her on-line set-up made the process so easy, even from Australia. Once there her support,interest & recommendations were heartwarming. We had a wonderful stay in the Colette apartment. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Marais and close to metro, shops, restaurants, and the Place des Vosges. The apartment is small but comfortable, great for a couple. It felt safe, and the neighbors were polite. Booking was smooth and easy, and Isabelle answered all of our questions via email and called to check in on arrival. We would definitely book with Isabelle again!
