GUESTBOOK

My wife and I stayed in the Mona Lisa apartment in June 2007. It exceeded our expectations. The Louvre is across the street, diagonally, and the view is magnificent! The Rivoli metro stop is directly across the street, and is usually not very crowded. Gosselin boulangerie is located within one block at 125 Rue St. Honore. There is also a grocery store located about 2 blocks away on Rue du Louvre. There are many ATMs nearby, including one next to the front door. For 2 people there is plenty of room in the apartment. We ate breakfasts and 2 dinners in the cozy kitchen. We walked to most attractions, and took TGV trains for daytrips to Reims, Tours, and Bruges. We highly recommend the Acco-Dispo van tour of the Loire chateaux beginning in Tours. The Blue Van airport shuttle worked well for us, although the drivers were a bit manic. I may use the RER next time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed in the Mona Lisa apartment in May 2007, for one week. The internet booking arrangements and the ease of payment could not have been easier. Isabelle's suggestion to take the BLUEvan shuttle bus from CDG airport direct to the apartment (which I arranged via the internet) worked well. The location of the Mona Lisa apartment is just wonderful, with many Paris icons within easy walking distance, a Batobus stop for Seine travel nearby, and the metro just across the street for those longer journies. For a couple this apartment really is a great place to stay, providing adequate cooking facilities yet also being close to many good restaurants, theatres and markets. We would certainly stay there again.

We have stayed 2 times in Isabelle s apartment, and we feel that Paris is really more lovely when you stay in an apartment. Last time, in February 2006, we stayed at Louvre apartment: wonderful place, excelent location, near supermarkets, subway, walking distance to Orsay Museum, to Latin Quarter, Ile de la Cité, and to every place in Paris, and what is even more important :we felt Paris in a special way. Living those days in a real Parisian home, was the better way to really feel Paris in our heart.
By the way , it was cheaper than a hotel, and Isabelle ,who is a wonderful person, has a "tips book" with everthing you need to have a fantastic stay in Paris.
Undoubtely for our next time in Europe we will contact her.

We spent New Year in the Mona Lisa apartment and found it extremely convenient and a great base for exploring our favourite city. Being Winter (& snowy!), it was wonderful to have the Metro at the door and the Louvre opposite - we loved our times in the Louvre when it was too cold to venture further. The apartment is comfortable and very cosy with great views and even though it is on the Rue de Rivoli, it was quiet. Isabelle was charming and helpful and I will certainly recommend the apartment and look forward to returning.

The flat was perfect position for us, able to get to Louvre, Musées Carnavalet and Orsay, the latter on foot, and we are 72!, plenty of resuarants around at choice of prices, Metro outside door. Flat clean and well equipped, Isabelle is super and answered all my queries, however stupid!! I would not hesitate to reccomend her flats.

We stayed in Isabelle's Mona Lisa apartment. The location was tremendous right across from the Louvre with a Metro stop right across the crosswalk from the front door.
We rented from Isabelle after having a problem with a different apartment rented via the internet and were very pleased with how everything worked out. I would not hesitate to use Isabelle again for an apartment rental in the future.

I was a bit nervous about renting via the internet, but found Isabelle's Louvre apartment to be exactly as advertised - view and all! She met us as scheduled, briefed us thoroughly and gave us wonderful tips to add to the enjoyment of our trip. I'd surely rent from her again!

My son and I stayed in Isabelle's apartment in September. We felt so at home in the apartment. It was close to everything. The metro stop is right across the street. The cafe at the entrance was great for having a drink and watching the people go by. You can see the Seine and the Louvre from your window.

It felt very safe because the entrance was on a lighted busy street. I own a bed and breakfast in Tucson and I would recommend this apartment to you.

We arrived back in Canada safe and sound, our trip to France was very enjoyable. There are so many highlights, I can't pick out one thing that was the absolute best. One thing Joey and I agreed on was our trip to Arromanche and the Normandy landing beaches was very very nice. We enjoyed Sabine's tour, and she was able to show us so much more than we would have seen on our own or on a big bus tour. Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your apartment.

We stayed in the Louvre apartment for a week in late March. It was wonderful and we would not hesitate to highly recomment it, Isabelle is a trustworthy individual. The apartment was clean and decorated in a tasteful manner. We found it very centrally located, and in easy walking distance of most anywhere we wanted to go. Staying in this apartment, I believe, gave us a more 'authentic' Paris experience.

My husband and I were at the Louvre apt in early May and had a marvellous time .Isabelle's booking system ,directions etc were faultless and very reassuring. We LOVED the apt and it's proximity to all the main Parisian landmarksand also eating places. The view from the windows was fantastic and one of our favourite things was to sit at the open window in the early evening ,or last thing at night and have a drink while watching Paris go by . Having the apt was SO much better than a hotel room with the convenience of the fridge ,washing machine and being able to have breakfast/coffees etc when we wanted, and CHEAPER too!!. We highly recommend it

Isabelle was a joy to work with, both before and during our stay at the Louvre apartment. The location is outstanding(and thank heavens for the lift!). We could easily use the apartment throughout the day. And the washing machine helped us pack lighter.

I stayed at both Isabelle's Cannes and Louvre apartments during January 2005 on a business trip. Each apartment was fantastic, both in terms of location and comfort. I can't wait to take my wife to the Louvre apartment on our next holiday together. The booking and paying process with Isabelle over the internet was extremely easy and trouble free. I
would recommend Isabelle and her apartments to anybody whether on a business or a pleasure trip.

My husband and I had one of the most tremendous holidays in Paris, Sept, 2004, staying at Isabelle's apartment. The location was perfect. The apartment was perfect - well maintained and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation in Paris and we absolutely will be going back to Isabelle's apartment in Paris and have already recommended it to several people. I can't imagine staying any place else in Paris. Plus we love Isabelle who is so helpful and accommodating. We were thrilled with our experience.

Bob & I rented the apartment in Cannes and 2 apts in Paris, the Effil Tower and the Lourve. They were both great but we liked the convenience of the Lourve, with walking distance of all sights. The Effil Tower apt is accessible by train to all sights except the Effil Tower itself.

We bought resident passes for the trains using our passport picture which were good for a week, I think. Ask Isabelle, she'll know. I think we did about all of Paris, ate wonderful meals, the Latin Quarter is inexpensive and the street food was great. We stayed in Paris and also the Cannes apt. We rented a car for Cannes and traveled most of the southern coast in France doing day trips. We also took a train to Normandy and did a day
tour with Battlebus, which was great and stayed in a great bed and breakfast.

Isabelle is very honest and fair and although we were apprehensive doing business on the internet, it was great.

Our stay in Isabelle's apartment was wonderful. The location was exceptional. Close to museums, shops and the subway and best of all close to great "walking" neighborhoods with food/flower markets and outdoor cafes. We plan on returning for more vacations here. The apartment was the perfect size for us and we made use of the kitchen to prepare many meals.

KayJay,

My husband and I just stayed in a great location in an apartment in Paris,on Rue de Rivoli & Rue du Louvre. With the windows closed (at night - sleeping) it was very quiet as it was on the 6th floor. Easy walking, easy transit. http://www.apartment-in-france.com  She has about 5 different apartments in Paris, it looks like.

I agree that while being close to the Eiffel Tower is nice, we stayed in Rue Cler 2 years ago, it was difficult getting to all the other sites. Many metro & bus changes.

This year, while picnicking (that looks funny spelled like that!)on the Seine, we saw Batobus, which appears to stop close to the Eiffel and many other stops along the river. You might look in to that if you stay in the 7th.

Have fun planning! The anticipation is so sweet!
Laura

I heartily agree with the apartment rental plan. I have become so spoiled by doing that. You can cook, shop for food, have more room to stretch out, and best of all feel like a native with your own address!
Here are a few apartments I have stayed in.
Isabelle is very friendly and helpful and her apartments are here:

We stayed at the Louvre apartment (Mona Lisa) and the location was great for access to all of the sights.
