Paris Bir-Hakeim

Bir-Hakeim: a bridge and a metro station have been given this name. Here you can see the bridge, knowing that the upper part of that bridge is occupied by the metro line railways (metro line # 6, heading to Nation on one side, and Charles de Gaulle-Etoile on the other side).

Bir-Hakeim stands exactly at the boundary between the 15th and the 7th district. It is a tourist spot, as the Eiffel Tower is located just near by...

Watch out with your belongings, as many pick-pockets "work" there :-)

The riverbank is very beautiful there, as you can see on this painting, with many boats... The river is also split into two from this point (towards West), with the long "Allée des cignes", bordered with trees, standing in the middle! Such a romantic walk....
