Welcome to the Beaubourg apartment!

Location:

This apartment is located in le marais, on a calm little street only 20 m ( = 22 yard) away from the Pompidou Center (also known as "Beaubourg"). This street is poetically named "rue de Venise": that makes 2 romantic destinations in just one :-)

Just everything is right at your door:

- Museums: the Pompidou center of course (which is the "temple of modern art"), the Louvre less that 10 minutes away, the Picasso Museum, le Musée Carnavalet, l'Hotel de Sully...

- Monuments: Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, la Sainte Chapelle, Bastille, Opera... The Eiffel Tower (which is not in the very center of Paris) is about 15 mn away by metro. The Champs Elysées avenue is less than 10 minutes away by metro.

- Districts: you are in the heart of Paris, in the fancy, lively and safe marais district. The Islands Ile de la Cité and Ile Petit Trianon are just near by. The Latin Quarter is on the other side of la Seine (minutes away) etc.

- Dozens of restaurants and bars, disco, art galleries, boutiques, department stores...

- Metro station and supermarket, bakeries, groceries ...

Description:

This studio apartment is 35 m² large (380 ft²).

It has just been renovated/redecorated.

It is located on the French 1st floor ( = American 2nd floor) of an elevated building. All the windows are facing a large and quiet courtyard: it is a real "hideaway nest" in the middle of the high energy marais/Beaubourg district.

Windows are very large, as the ceilings are very high, making the apartment very bright.

This large studio feels indeed as a one bedroom, as it includes:

- a separate sleeping area with a full size bed;

- a very welcoming living area, with a good convertible couch (sleeps 1 or 2 people),

- TV, DVD player, VCR with many movies (in English)

- a separate fully equipped kitchen

- a large bathroom with bathtub (hair dryer provided)

- a separate little room with a LOT of storage place for your belongings and clothes

- Air Conditioner window unit

- High speed Internet connection available if you bring your laptop (+ 40 €/week).

- This is a non-smoking apartment

This apartment ideally sleeps two people, with the possibility to accommodate one or 2 more people sleeping on the good convertible couch.
