Les Deux Magots

The French writers who founded the surrealist movement used to meet at Les Deux Magots. Here Louis Aragon, André Breton and Philippe Soupault put together the Surrealist Manifestos in the late 1920s. Other surrealists would drop by, included Max Ernst, Man Ray, and Joan Miro.

This café is still a very lively one, where people go to enjoy a good coffee and read their favorite newspaper.
