This bridge encrusted with eagles and horses, was built at the start of nineteenth century, but it has been much altered since. On the right bank is the palais de Chaillot and its gardens; the bridge is a fine place to see the fireworks which are let off the 14^th of July and other national occasions. On the left bank we can see the champs de Mars and on a distance, Ecole Militaire. Overtopping everything is the Eiffel Tower.
