If you plan to use a cab to commute from the Roissy Airport, I would recommend you to check this page of my website first.
Once you are in Paris: you can obtain a taxi by flagging one down the street, telephoning a service, o waiting at a taxi stand. Taxi stands resemble bus stops but are marked taxi. Simply wait in line for the next available taxi. If you order a taxi by phone, the meter starts at the time the taxi leaves its station. Most taxis will not take more than 3 people, but, at the discretion of the driver, may allowed 4 adults to ride for an additional charge. There are additional charges for pets, luggage, large packages and train station service. However be aware that drivers have the right to refuse a pet. The tip is normally 10%. Rates are posted, in French and in English, on a decal on the passenger's left site window.
